What do ex-LA Galaxy player David Beckham, former US President George W. Bush and actress Gwyneth Paltrow have in common?
They’re all just some of the high-profile names to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as the craze sweeps the globe.
The action of being doused by a bucket of icy-cold water is aimed at raising money for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a form of motor neurone disease, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. If you're nominated, you either accept the challenge within 24 hours or donate money to ALS.
As of Thursday, August 21, more than $41 million dollars had been rasied through the challenge.
And the Professional Referee Organization team have been getting involved after center official Chris Penso got the ball rolling.
Having nominated four members of the PRO support staff, Training & Development Manager Paul Rejer decided to accept the American referee's challenge, completing the challenge without fuss.
Rejer used his nominations to put forward officials Jose Carlos Rivero and Robert Sibiga, who duly obliged in full charitable spirit.

There could yet be further nominations.
