Officials of the Professional Referee Organization have been wearing MLS Works Soccer Kicks Cancer T-shirts during prematch warm-ups throughout the month of September.

In their continued effort to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and treatment, MLS Works has partnered with Children’s Oncology Group to focus their efforts on Childhood Cancer Awareness during the month of September

The campaign has been conducted during all matches played between September 5 and September 27.

Each MLS club has been promoting Soccer Kicks Cancer in various ways, and PRO officials have played their part by wearing branded T-shirts for their prematch routines.

“It's great to be able to support MLS Works and everything they do,” PRO center official Ricardo Salazar told proreferees.com

“We're fortunate enough to be healthy and not be battling these diseases, but we are helping MLS Works in the fight, and raising as much awareness as we can.

“This is one of several events that we PRO referees have been involved with, partnering up with MLS Works, and we like to play our part alongside the fans, the players and the owners.”
