PRO crew announced for the 2014 US Open Cup Final

PRO’s Armando Villarreal will referee the 2014 US Open Cup Final between Philadelphia Union and Seattle Sounders.

Villarreal will be joined at PPL Park on Tuesday, September 16 by assistant referees Peter Manikowski and Corey Parker. Jose Carlos Rivero will be the 4th official.

For 28-year-old Villarreal, the honor comes in his third season as a Major League Soccer center official, having made his debut back in May 2012 and gone on to work 40 matches in MLS. 

AR Manikowski will run the line in his second US Open Cup Final having also officiated in the 2012 Final, while for Parker the assignment comes only a month after working the MLS All-Star Game at Providence Park.

Rivero - a MLS referee since 2012 – has been assigned to 11 games so far this season and will take up 4th official duties when the Union and Sounders go for Cup glory in Chester, Pennsylvania.
